news and updates

29 January

January has turned out to be a busy month at Lewthwaite photography, it’s normally a slow month following the Christmas holidays.

Get your new year of to a head start and get your headshots updated (sorry for the pun) you guys want to stand out, be that for actors or for corporate portraits.

Happy to say that I’m offering mentoring to other photographers, what I offer is an insight into my day to day life and sessions that I provide and hopefully offer a different way of working or to introduce in to your existing working practice!

You have one first impression, you want to make that one count, right?

If you’re going for a casting or looking to update your cv or maybe just better your social media presence then a headshot can be for you.

In headshots sessions we focus the pictures on your face and upper body. Depending on what you’re using the pictures for a makeup artist would be to recommend.

Choose a neutral top or shirt so focus is on you rather than your clothes. When doing a booking with me, I always provide pre-shoot advice, on clothes and makeup. If you need to book a makeup artist or hairstylist I can recommend some really talented people or if you have someone you want to use that works as well. Please note that hair and make up artist is not included in the price.

I can offer sessions either in my home studio or at a location of your choice.

The sessions always starts with us sitting down for a coffee or tea and we’ll just have a talk. It’s important that you feel comfortable and that you’ll have a fun time.

I don’t like to work on the clock, so a session with me will not be finished until we have the pictures that you need.
For information about what happens when the session is done see: What happens after your shoot
